Hi again. I’ve been on a long sojourn and will be writing again soon. I wish I could report that loads of lucrative paid writing gigs have kept me busy. But that’s not the case. Lack of childcare, too much pet care, and lots of related subjects not worth going into yet have kept me away. My writing life is mostly emails asking other parents to donate their time and money to school, or notes to miscellaneous babysitters requesting that baby carrots be served with the Annie’s Shells and Cheese. Yes, it’s as fun as it sounds. The best news is that I just became an aunt! My brother and his wife are proud parents of a brand new baby boy, born on Monday night.
