Every time I walk along Montana Avenue, more storefronts are for lease and more businesses are liquidating. There are certainly more than one street’s share of frivolous and overpriced shops on Montana. But the place is starting to resemble a ghost town compared to the hustle of even a few months ago. In a shocking, related turn of events, a few houses north of Montana can now be purchased for under $2 million.
