No longer a brunch wasteland

It’s been much too long since I’ve been able to write, but I need to dance a little jig about the new bakery/brunch place that has opened on Wilshire Boulevard near 10th Street. Huckleberry! I sing your praises. Anything halfway decent in Santa Monica is completely overrun, and this place does suffer from lack of seating. But the breakfast and lunch food and baked goods more than make up for the cramped quarters. Finally there’s something along the lines of Century City’s Clementine in this area. Huckleberry is not afraid to mix quinoa, over easy eggs, and pesto, or to come up with other healthy-ish and tasty dishes. And the coffee is good! But maybe they should try Intelligentsia coffee to up the ante:
